Long standing Salem manufacturer seeking lathe operator to set up, program and operate a large CNC lathe producing large, tight tolerance, long parts from rough stock and components into finish machined, precision pieces.  Candidate must be adept at reading blueprints and drawings and interpret tolerances and symbols therein.  The individual must be capable of setting up machines for the different parts to machine, creating CNC programs to process the components and performing the actual machining to finished results.  The person must be able to operate overhead cranes by pendant controls.  The candidate must be self-motivated, capable of reasoning and possess the knowledge to resolve situations with minimal assistance.  The individual must be capable of using micrometers and other measuring and finishing devices.  If you possess these requirements then please submit your resume for review for an opportunity to work for one of the community's longest established manufacturing companies that offers one of the areas best wages, benefits and job opportunities.
