What are we looking for?

The Petroleum Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of analytical testing procedures on crude oil and refined petrol products/fuels working on our main floor department.

What you’ll do:

• Perform a variety of ASTM, UOP, IP, and related published methods.

• Perform analysis using a variety of laboratory instrumentation such as, but not limited to, AA, ICP, Flash Point, Distillation equipment, Titration, common laboratory balances, ovens, etc.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Four year BS degree in a science field (or two years direct lab experience in lieu of degree)

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience

• Microsoft office suite

• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for hours, handle production stress

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• BS Chemistry or degree in science

• Direct petroleum laboratory experience
