Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description

We are offering a Contract to hire employment opportunity for a Contracts Administrator based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The role involves managing contract programs within the construction industry, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. This position will also require liaising with clients and outside counsel for contract reviews, as well as tracking tasks within the contract lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Administer contracts programs, ensuring all processes are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Review, redline, and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are in line with company standards and legal requirements.

• Prepare draft agreements, including AIA documents, exhibits, change orders, and amendments, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.

• Meet with clients and outside counsel for contract review and redlines, facilitating open communication and clear understanding of contract terms.

• Create final documents for signature, ensuring all necessary parties have reviewed and approved the document.

• Work alongside the administrative assistant in tracking tasks within the contract lifecycle, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

• Manage and update standard AIA and other contract documents, ensuring they reflect current company and legal standards.

• Utilize CRM software to manage and track contracts and client information.

• Ensure all contract activities are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.

• Utilize skills in construction and contract negotiation to effectively manage contracts and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role

• Experience in a construction or engineering industry required.

• Proficiency in CRM software is essential

• Should have a strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards

• Must have demonstrated skills in contract negotiation

• Prior experience with redlining is necessary

• Familiarity with AIA Documents is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field is preferred

• Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job.
