Robert Half Bookkeeper in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records including purchases, sales, receipts and payments, as well as working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports. The role also includes ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and managing invoices and tax payments.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake a variety of tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.

• Execute bookkeeping tasks and data entry with high accuracy.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Assist in month-end close procedures.

• Process payroll in a timely manner.

• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.

• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.

• Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and report generation.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping tasks

• Capable of efficient Data Entry and adept at using Microsoft Excel

• Familiar with Month End Close procedures and Payroll management

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
