One of our clients in Los Angeles is looking for a Business Analyst with Financial Broker Dealer Industry experience: NOTE: This is a 100% position. Candidates will be working on PST Timezone. Industry Expereince: Astute Knowledge of financial services industry in one or more of the following: Brokerage Services, Wealth Management, Advisory, trading platforms/systems, finance, online account services, cash management" Position Summary Gather requirements from business stakeholders and partner with internal and external business owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions and drive delivery with vendors (in conjunction with IT as appropriate). This role will partner with various vendor teams to ensure delivery and quality. Skill/Experience

• Prior experience working in Wealth Management and Asset Management.
• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst/Product Owner.
• Understanding and working experience in Front and Back Office teams.
• Exposure to platforms such as the following would be a big plus:
  • Net X 360
  • Broadridge BPS
  • ICE BondPoint
  • SIMON/iCapital
  • Fidelity Wealthscape
• Experience in FIX is strongly desired.
• Experience in using and testing APIs is a plus.
• Experience with the Agile methodology of software development is a plus.
• Experience in articulating requirements to developers.
• Experience with QA and acceptance testing is a plus.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong Communication (written & verbal) and excellent Stakeholder and Vendor management skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Define requirements and develop new and enhance existing processes, in partnership with internal IT and vendor teams.
• Work with clients to gather and define requirements for core trading systems, in partnership with teams across the organization.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of investment products, regulatory requirements, financial markets, and related investment data.
• Contribute to ongoing efficiency efforts through automation, process design, and implementation such as internal dashboards, QA testing (API, UI, etc).
• Assist in data architecture for distribution of investment data to internal clients and help define and build data structures for exposure of data to end consumers.
