Position Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Global Business Intelligence provides support on reporting business trends to the organization. This role has responsibility for analyzing and identifying key trends in category, shopper, retailer, marketplace and industry through data-driven analytical needs across the globe, with a focus on the US .
Responsibilities
Conduct proactive analysis to address critical business questions, including engaging with a diverse set of cross-functional partners in order to drive business results across categories, segments, and brands
Prepare reports and insights for regular delivery to Executives and other key leadership positions
Mine data for insights across internal and external data sources to be summarized into stories and narratives in a clear, concise, and visually pleasing manner
Identify key business issues and utilize a diverse set of data inputs to quantify impacts and implications; provide recommendations to key leaders
Manage projects from inception to completion and provide communication with key stakeholders throughout the course of the project to keep everyone aware and on task
Assist with analysis related to strategy, corporate reporting, category, consumer, competitive intelligence and other areas as required

What we are looking for
Bachelor Degree required. Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Finance, Data Science, Market Research or other Quantitative Discipline preferred
2-5 years of experience in Project Management, Category Management, Business Analytics, Business Insights, Financial Analysis, CPG Analysis, POS Analysis, Consumer Analysis
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to problem solve and work on multiple projects under pressing deadlines
Works well across a diverse set of topics and cross functional groups
Ability to take initiative and self-direct
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Highly motivated
Intellectual curiosity and drive for results
Ability to present information to a variety of audiences of varying responsibilities and levels
Can-do attitude and ability to work cross functionally
Experience in CPG industry
Experience in Syndicated Data (Circana (IRI/NPD), Nielsen, etc.)
Experience in Analytics, Data Science or Financial Analysis
Previous Category/Business Insights experience, working with Brand/Marketing teams
Experience with eCommerce/omnichannel sales tracking sources (Flywheel, Profitero, etc.)
Experience working with data visualization software like Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau
