Job Description

Critical to our success is our partnership with the product and marketing teams. This leader will engage with our colleagues, align on priorities, and execute on shared objectives. Supporting those aligned priorities, the leader will continue to manage sales campaigns and support banker recognition to both motivate and celebrate engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Identify, develop, and evaluate longer term opportunities that provide competitive advantage within assigned business line(s).

  • Anticipate trends and opportunities through insightful interpretation of research and develop novel company responses in line with overall business strategy.

  • Synthesize complex market and competitive information across multiple structures in the organization, anticipate market trends and customer needs, and transform analyses into innovative actionable plans for revenue growth, investment, or operational enhancement.

  • Specific functions may include identification of opportunities, innovative market segmentation, business plan development, and performance analysis and evaluation.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships to accelerate growth; develop and implement marketing strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience.

  • 10 or more years of banking or other relevant experience.

  • Five or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills.

  • Knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.

  • Sustain profitability and growth of group.

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to pursue objectives of group.

  • Ability to influence the execution of highly complex or specialized projects and to adapt precedent and make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop innovative solutions.

  • Actively ensure compliance with all US Bancorp policies and procedures such as Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $188,530.00 - $221,800.00 - $243,980.00
