BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN Radiology Tech for Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Position Details:
PRN - Flexible Scheduling Monday – Friday for afternoon and evening shift
Mallinckrodt Tower (General Diagnostic Department)
Samsung and Carestream portables equipment
Must be available to work 4 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks) to meet PRN Requirement
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field.
Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R). - Current or obtaining in the next 6 months
Experience:
ARRT registered
New grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists/MRI Technologists are encouraged to apply!!!!
Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist
2 year's experience as a radiologic technologist (preferred)
CPR certified
Able to work independently in the emergency room, performing portable exams or performing exams on in-house patients.

Overview

Role Purpose
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
Responsibilities
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
