Overview

The Neurodiagnostic Lab compliments Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Neuroscience division. Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a Level IV Epilepsy Center, utilizing state of the art video monitoring equipment with a dedicated staff of Neurologists and Neurodiagnostic technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Assists the Neurodiagnostic Technologist with electroencephalographic testing in the laboratory and at the patient’s bedside, while completing an Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Certificate program. Trains on Academic Only testing which includes Long-Term Video EEG set up and monitoring, Evoked Potentials, routine and/or intraoperative Somatosensory Evoked Potentials. Completes all assignments and activities required of the Neurodiagnostic Certificate Program, ultimately earning the certificate. Is required to graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Training Program within timeframe of contract.
Responsibilities
Completes all assignments and activities required of the Neurodiagnostic Certificate Program, ultimately earning the certificate.
Assists the Neurodiagnostic Technologist with procedures (Academic and Routine), performs limited procedures under the supervision of a technologist.
Participates in review sessions and clinical rotations as assigned.
