Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior level PostgreSQL database administrator. In this role, this individual will collaborate with our internal customers to deliver and enterprise-level database backend for top-tier applications. This person will architect, deploy, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the development and production database environments, providing data assurance to its users. They will also need to be prepared to create and support viable AWS Aurora database solutions to organizational needs while working in accordance with internal policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will need to come in and get the team up to speed, mentor others, and help get into the cloud quicker. The expectation for this role is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote in St. Louis, MO, Austin, TX, Morris Plains, NJ, Jacksonville, FL, Nashville, TN or Hartford, CT.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years as a Database Administrator

2+ years with AWS Aurora

3-5 years recent PostgreSQL

Cloud Experience Experience with DPA, Etcd, HAProxy, Patroni, pgbackrest is preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline (or equivalent experience) null
