Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

CNC Machinist will machine and manufacture parts for customers and projects. They will perform CNC machine setups, tooling adjustments, and changeovers, as well as run and operate machines, including CNC Okuma Mill, CNC Router, and CNC Haas Mill. They will also perform minor program edits when necessary and conduct all quality inspections of parts. This is a low-rate production job shop, so they will perform 2-3 setups per week with tolerances ranging from 0.005 to 0.03 inch.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift opening: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. No overtime available while on contract, but after contract duration, can work up to 2-3 hours of overtime per week. Will work alongside 1 other CNC Machinist and the Supervisor. Non climate-controlled shop environment with fans and bay doors for hot weather and heaters for cold weather. In the summer, the shop can reach up to about 90 degrees, and in the winter, the shop is roughly in the 50s. This is a job shop environment with low rate production and is not the standard machine shop environment. Shop includes: 2 CNC Okuma Mills, 1 CNC Router, 1 CNC Haas Mill, CNC Router, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe.
