Wells Fargo Business Execution Senior Manager / Credit Risk in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Managers in Corporate Credit Risk Management. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing business initiatives and programs, as well as serving as advocates for Wells Fargo’s vision and business plans across business groups with a focus on the following. This role will report to Head of Credit Strategy, Planning and Governance.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a small team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility.

  • Manage the overall governance and controls framework for certain Credit Risk processes

  • Ensure controls framework is fit for purpose for Chief Credit Officer verticals, specifically the RCSA and monitoring framework

  • Provides project support to ensure execution under Issues and Corrective Action Plans

  • Ensure adequate oversight and management of internal and external audits, including Regulatory, and Internal Audit

  • Engage with Credit Risk verticals to understand any concerns regarding execution of the control environment and/or other applicable emerging concerns which will need to be addressed by the team

  • Interface with Credit Risk verticals to develop and assess adequacy of KPI/KRIs to drive scorecard metrics and facilitate the reporting of results and trends

  • Coordinate the efficient execution of committee and rating agency materials

  • Support the broader Chief Credit Officer verticals on strategic initiatives/projects as appropriate

  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives.

  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans.

  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement.

  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables.

  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk.

  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business.

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution.

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Corporate Risk and/or Corporate Credit Risk.

  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework and relevant policies and procedures.

  • Strong operational risk management knowledge and practical application (e.g. issues management, RCSA and monitoring design)

  • Experience in effectively engaging with banking regulators, and Internal Audit

  • Thorough knowledge of Wells Fargo´s systems and operational infrastructure

  • Proven experience in facilitating the execution of key processes that enable prompt execution of the monitoring and management of risks

  • Ability to provide strategic insights and strong sensitivity to macro and regulatory issues, and impact of such issues on the various risk families, including operational and franchise risks

  • Experience working with team members of all levels, including senior executives (OC+1).

  • Experience leading governance programs, such as committees, RCSA, QCA, issues management, ERIA, ERR and other risk programs.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
