TEKsystems Bilingual Customer Account Specialist in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri
Our client, an international chemical company, is looking to add a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Account Specialist to their Creve Coeur, MO team.
Description:
Scope: This position is responsible for managing the order to invoice process for customers including timely delivery, meeting product requirements and accurate invoicing. This position will work closely with sales and supply chain departments to fully satisfy customer expectations. This individual must provide the highest quality customer service and represent the company in a positive professional manner at all times.
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Enter orders received via fax, email and phone into SAP system
Resolve all non-technical inquires including tracing shipments, providing prices and product availability dates
Resolve order and service issues by gather and analyzing facts and data to identify immediate solutions
Enter Customer Feedback Reports
Communicate Material Safety Data Sheets, Tech Sheets, Certifications of Analysis and other required documentation to customers
Provide sales support to assigned Sales Account Managers, including issue resolution, pricing maintenance and other customer needs
Coordinate with shipping locations, production planners, transportation and credit to ensure seamless order transactions
Some export management including: handling Letters of Credit, coordinate bookings with freight forwarders and preparing documentation
Support order management through customer’s portals
Resolve payment discrepancies and support invoice collections
Team project work for process improvement
Call customers to engage on forecast requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Experience working within SAP
2+ years of order management experience in a manufacturing environment required, export experience preferred
Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, sort/filter)
Positive attitude
Proven oral and written communication with clients
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Able to make timely decisions, organized, efficient and demonstrates time management skills
Takes owner ship of issue resolution and is willing to go above and beyond to provide high quality service
