Clarios, LLC Production Team Lead - St. Joe Distribution Center - WD35754 in Saint Joseph, Missouri

This is a position at the St. Joe Distribution Center

What you will do:

  • Review and coach employees in accordance with plant goals (as needed).
  • Administer production salary/wage policy for operating personnel.
  • Support and enforce health, environmental, and safety standards, work practices, and housekeeping policies.
  • Arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Report daily indicators, including production scrap, batteries per person/hour, and batteries per measured hour.
  • Investigate material variances, report results, and recommend improvements.
  • Solicit and encourage process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members.
  • Audit Standard Work Practices for each area and regularly review for effectiveness through team meetings and practice.
  • Oversee receiving and receiving inspections (as required).
  • Assign work to meet daily manufacturing requirements.

How you will do it:

  • Collaborate with the Area Manager or Shift Supervisor.
  • Train and coach production employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Monitor production indicators and investigate variances.
  • Encourage process improvements.
  • Oversee receiving and inspections.
  • Manage work assignments and labor/material usage.

What we look for:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred).
  • In lieu of a bachelors degree, we consider a 2-year degree and at least 2 years of experience OR 4 years of equivalent experience through a combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime.

Our St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages,

and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and

operate

six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through The United Way, Camp Quality, Second Harvest Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
