Coffey's Lawn Care LLC Seasonal Landscape Worker in Saint Charles, Missouri
Coffeys Lawn Care, LLC is seeking to employ six (6) seasonal landscape workers for temporary full-time employment for the time period of 4/1/2024 to 12/15/2024. Work is generally 8-hour work days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm. Work is principally at sites in the St. Louis, MO-IL MSA as well as Warren, Lincoln, St. Charles, and St. Louis County, and St. Louis City. Workers will begin each day at 3725 Harry S. Truman Blvd. St. Charles, MO 63301 and Employer will provide transportation to the various worksites and back to the starting location each day. Hourly wage of $17.58 up to $22.62 per hour. Overtime possible at Employer's discretion at wage of $26.37 up to $33.93 per hour. No education or experience or training required. No on the job training. All tasks performed under supervision of crew leader or other employees.
Workers will perform a variety of tasks, which include edging and cleaning commercial and residential beds, trash pickup, equipment maintenance, mowing, weeding, application of fertilizer and mulch, digging, leaf removal, bush trimming, bush and tree planting to service and maintain grounds properties. Workers will also be required to load equipment and materials on and off trucks at employer's offices and client sites, such as concrete blocks and large rocks, fertilizer bags, mulch, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, trees and shrubs to be planted, dead tree limbs and trunk pieces and riding lawnmowers. Must be able to lift weight as required to handle equipment and material related to landscaping/grounds keeping assignments. Employer will rely on representations of the worker and/or employers own observations to determine worker meets physical requirement. Must not be a convicted felon or registered sex offender. Must pass drug test after offer is made and before worker begins work in the area of intended employment.
Employer will use a single workweek as standard to compute wages, wages to be paid, paid no less frequently than every two weeks, all deductions required by law to be made from gross wages by employer. Workers guaranteed pay for minimum work of three-fourths of all workdays contained in each 12-week period of employment contemplated in this work order. Employer will make reimbursement to workers who complete at least 50 percent of work term certificated as indicated below for subsistence and travel from home to place of employment (and lodging if required) if relocating from outside St. Louis, MO-IL MSA and will pay for return home transportation and subsistence costs if the worker completes work for the entire term of certified employment or is dismissed from employment early. Travel reimbursement to be the lowest cost bus fare (and overnight lodging if required) between the Employer's place of business and worker's home. Subsistence reimbursement to be by cash stipend limited to a minimum of $15.88 per day and a maximum amount verified by receipts of $59.00 per day of travel. Employer may provide limited assistance to workers to obtain group home housing rented from an entity other than the Employer, at market rent to be paid by the workers separately from workers' check. Workers may obtain any housing of their choice and at their own cost. Employer will also reimburse the worker for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other H-2B related processing fees (excluding worker passport fees) incurred by worker within the first week of work. All tools and supplies and equipment required to complete job duties to be provided by Employer without charge or deposit.This job order is being placed in connectionwith a concurrently submitted Application for Temporary EmploymentCertification for H-2B workers.
