Garpiel Group Account Manager in Saginaw, Michigan

POSITION TITLE: Account Manager JOB TYPE: Full-time, Seasonal (March - December) PAY: $19.00, plus bonus opportunities REPORTS TO: Client Experience Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Account Manager's essential role and responsibilities are to maintain a consistent relationship with Garpiel Group's clients. Service clients are defined as any client that has more than two recurring services with Garpiel Group - i.e. weekly lawn mowing and fertilizer, irrigation, shrub trimming, snow, plant health care, holiday lighting and/or landscaping design/build. By performing site visits with previous landscape clients and multi-service clients, a client list will be developed as your touch points for additional service opportunities to be created.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain an accurate, as well as current, list of all previous landscape clients and multi-service clients and establish a time frame and frequency of site visits.
  2. All meetings and property contact points need to be documented
  3. Any service items that are identified need to be forwarded to the appropriate division manager.
  4. Follow-up is to be made with the client to establish a clear expectation for correction of service item(s).
  5. Responsible for the follow-up with division manager(s) to ensure the service item(s) are remedied, and that the client is aware that the service item(s) are satisfactory. If not satisfactory, the same process is to be followed with an expedited time frame.
  6. Responsible for a sales goal of $90,000 between selling and/or creating leads year one.
  7. Any sale closed exceeding the goal of $90,000 will garner a one time, 5% bonus check for all new work sold (Example: A $50.00 weekly lawn sale with 30 weeks of service would be a one time $75.00 bonus in addition to base salary).
  8. Required to visit all site visits with, or without, clients present.
  9. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. 1 year of experience preferred but not required
  3. Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Must demonstrate exemplary customer service
  5. Ability to be versatile
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
