Job Responsibilities:

• Perform site investigations and site visits.

• Prepare calculations, drawings, and design specifications, detailing the layout and materials for all mechanical requirements/systems including site utility requirements (natural gas, water, sewer, etc.) and building mechanical/plumbing requirements/systems.

• Design and prepare deliverable drawings for the mechanical systems.

• Prepare the required calculations for systems, prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings.

• Coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with plumbing, HVAC, or aviation projects

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

• Proficiency in Revit

• EIT or PE from the State of California preferred

• Experience with site visits and field work

• Ability to review calculations, drawings, and specifications and provide meaningful comments
