Job Description:

Fluor, together with its joint-venture partner AECOM, has been awarded a four-year program delivery support services contract for the California High-Speed Rail program by the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services to support one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S.

The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley.

Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Program Controls, the Program Estimating Lead performs as a team member who is responsible for managing the Program Estimating Unit. The employee works in the Risk Management Office/Program Controls Branch

• Manages the cost estimating group in the development of all capital cost estimates for CAHSRA from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates.

• Facilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Supports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update Reports.

• Supports the review of Contractor estimates and claims.

• Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating.
