Electrician - Graveyard Shift

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrician on the graveyard shift where you will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on processing and packaging lines, the Towveyor System, and building facilities. You will handle installations, repairs, and tests on various electrical systems, and perform scheduled overhauls. Additionally, you will draft schematic drawings, log and report work order calibrations, research, and order parts for projects and general maintenance. This role involves embracing other duties as required.

Hard Skills

  • Facilities Electrician

  • Industrial Electrician

  • Running Conduit

  • Experience with 480 volts, 3 phase motors, motor controls

  • PLC experience

  • Ability to draw a 3 wire stop start

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sacramento, California.

Work Environment

The role is based in a food production facility with many moving parts. Familiarity with food GMP's, SOP's is required. Training will be conducted on day shift, but you will eventually move to the graveyard shift. Shifts are 4x10 and can fall from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Graveyard shift hours are from 9:00pm to 7:30am
