You will report to the Sr. Services Delivery Leader of the Professional Services team. As a member of this team, you will have the flexibility to work remotely without any requirement to be present in the office. However, the role may entail travel of approximately 10-30% to collaborate with clients and team members, ensuring the successful delivery of services and solutions.

Your Role

  • Design, deploy, and manage open-source database architectures

  • Develop and implement database migration strategies

  • Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements

  • Provide expert consultation on database security and backup

  • Stay up-to-date with open-source database technologies

  • Troubleshoot complex database issues

  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in open-source database solutions

  • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL

  • Strong understanding of database design principles and query optimization

  • Experience with database migration projects

  • Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL)

  • Proficiency in scripting languages for database automation

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 156,080 and USD $ 311,280 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
