Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Coordinator (construction) to join our team! In this role you will get to make a positive impact on the delivery of a large and complex airport capital improvement program by coordinating and supporting efficient construction pashing and sequencing of works. great opportunity for professional and personal growth!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Engaging stakeholders (airport tenants, operators, concessions, divisions, contractors, utility providers to maintain uninterrupted airport operations and gold standard level of passenger experience.

  • Planning and coordinating construction phasing and sequencing of work activities including long range planning of future works.

  • Contributing to the development of processes and procedures for efficient delivery of a portfolio of projects.

  • Providing effective, consistent and timely verbal and written notifications.

  • Coordinating major utility cut-overs and shutdowns to avoid unplanned disruptions to services

  • Coordinating Maintenance of Traffic (vehicular and pedestrian foot traffic)

  • Supporting and aligning construction activities to be compliant with established Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental program requirements

  • Ability to effectively influence others, build and maintain relationships

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and generate written and visual aids to achieve objectives utilizing computer and basic software/applications including construction industry Project Management Information System (PMIS)

  • Ability to review and comments on Contractor deliverables and submittal for compliance as it relates to logistics, phasing and sequencing of work

  • Prior experience and lessons learned for value add to the SMForward Capital Improvement program (CIP)

  • Ability to read and understand contracts, architectural and engineering plans and specifications.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Prior transportation - aviation./airport experience (not required)

  • Proficiency in the use of computer hardware and software standard to the construction industry including but not limited to some of the following Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, PMIS (Procore, Kahua, E-building, Prolog, PMWeb) or equivalents.

  • Ability to influence others and maintain relationships under pressure

  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
