Job Description

Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Diagnose and resolve issues related to data center infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor system performance and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally. Ensure all operations comply with EPA regulations and other relevant standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system configurations, and operational procedures. Respond promptly to emergencies, implementing disaster recovery protocols as needed. Assess and recommend upgrades or improvements to data center infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 7-10 years of building maintenance experience in data center operations or a related field.

• EPA Certification

• Proficiency in managing HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure components.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve technical issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, facilities maintenance, and maintenance repair.

• This is a mobile position. Must be comfortable driving throughout the Sacramento regions and occasionally South Bay Area.

• Some on-call and emergency responses.

Work Environment

This is an independent role where you will not be interacting with a large team or group after training. You must be comfortable being in an independent environment.

Mobile position where you'll be traveling between different locations. Must be open to on-call and emergency responses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00
