Description We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the financial services industry. As a Billing Specialist, your role will be to handle billing functions, answer inbound calls and process customer credit applications. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate customer credit records and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Handle billing functions with the use of computerized billing systems and other accounting software systems.

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any billing issues.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Manage and maintain accounts receivable.

• Utilize EHR and Epic software for maintaining customer records.

• Ensure accurate customer credit records are kept.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Use ADP - Financial Services for processing customer applications.

• Answer inbound calls from customers, providing excellent customer service.

• Perform other accounting functions as required. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Ability to handle Computerized Billing.

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM is essential.

• Knowledge of Epic Software is necessary.

• Familiarity with About Time software.

• Proven experience with Accounting Functions.

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to manage Billing Functions.

• Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is necessary.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
