Treasury Wine Estates Vineyard Supervisor in SA, Australia

Our Barossa North Vineyards are home to the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Southern Hemisphere, as well being the home of the most modern technologies when it comes to sustainability in viticulture. This is an unmissable opportunity to join our team in a truly impactful role.

About the role

Our Vineyard Supervisors are pivotal in ensuring our team produce high yielding, high quality grapes which feature in the world’s best wines – Penfolds Grange, Bin 707 and Bin 389 to name a few.

  • Ensure the vineyard work program is executed in a timely, cost effective and safe manner across multiple vineyard sites

  • Directly supervise a team of 12 Vineyard Operators to achieve outcomes

  • Supervise all contractors, assure all quality and safety targets

  • Develop and maintain a positive work culture

About you

As a natural leader, you thrive encouraging and motivating a team to achieve the highest quality outcomes. You enjoy working in a varied and diverse role, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

You’re a natural communicator, and someone who enjoys engaging with your team, contractors and the wider community.

  • Practical work experience in viticulture management and team management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible around hours of work to meet the seasonal operational needs

  • The ability to handle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines

  • The ability to work in a physically demanding role in outdoor conditions (hot, cold, wet weather)

  • Tertiary qualifications in Viticulture, Agriculture or Horticulture desirable
