Citigroup Application Support & Risk and Compliance Manager SVP in Rutherford, New Jersey

Application Support & Risk and Compliance Manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level and across the cross functional teams to resolve risk and compliance issues. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external vendors. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the Risk and compliance and vendor delivery. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing portfolio level risk and compliance area and will be responsible and accountable for timely closure of issues. This person needs to have high level of risk & compliance understanding.

Responsibilities:

  • Has in-depth knowledge of risk and compliance policies and industry standards.

  • Provides expertise in projects management and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership and PM policies.

  • Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions) and with external vendors.

  • Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.

  • Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.

  • Possesses in-depth understanding of PTSw, CAMP and MCA.

  • Should be able to follow up with his own team and across peers to keep the portfolio risk and compliance posture clean.

  • Guide Application management teams on application stability and supportability improvements

  • Thorough knowledge of Corrective action plan, MCAs and Vulnerability assessment reviews.

  • Experience with application vendor onboarding including Single Sign implementation.

  • Work with various team members on coaching them on how to maximize their potential, work better in a highly integrated team environment and focus on bringing out their strengths.

  • Drives continued cost reductions and efficiencies across the portfolios supported by means of Root Cause Analysis reviews, Knowledge management, Performance tuning, and user training

  • Improve the service level the team provides to our end users, which includes maximizing operational efficiencies, strengthening incident management, problem management and knowledge sharing practices.

  • In depth understanding of architecture diagrams.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years Application Support

  • 10 years in Risk and Compliance managing portfolio level for Risk and compliance

  • 5+ years experience in program/project manager experience

  • Senior to advanced level experience in an Apps Support/management role for SaaS applications with commensurate experience in people management.

  • Experience of senior stakeholder management and creating presentation material

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree in computer science or Engineering field preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
