Technical Program Manager

The Knowledge Management group at Dell Technologies is looking for a Technical Program Manager to work on a broad range of projects within the eServices area. The outcomes of these semantically based projects range from managing consistency and standards across siloed systems, enabling data/content integration, and enabling discovery through analytics, to improving the customer experience by enabling personalization at scale.

What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services.

You will:

  • Work closely with sales, customer service, partners, customers and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of highly complex, high-risk projects. From design to delivery

  • Work on semantic Resource Description Framework (RDF) ontological structuring for a complex organization

  • Work on a broad range of projects within the eServices area

  • Improve the customer experience by enabling personalization at scale

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Library Science with Minors / Concentrations / Certificates in Information Management, Library Automation, Linguistics, and 2 years of experience working on semantic (RDF) ontological structuring for a complex organization

  • Demonstrated ability to apply insight to build comprehensive, intuitive, semantic ontologies within a very complex environment.

  • Familiar with W3C industry standards including SPARQL/OWL.

  • Capable of relating requirements and findings to business needs and outcomes.

  • Understanding of content and information management, data structures, and semantic metadata extraction.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working with Graph databases, taxonomies, and Natural Language Processing strategies (NLP) for optimization.

  • Knowledge of TOMS tools like Semantic Web PoolParty, TopQuadrant Edge, GraphDB Ontotext and an understanding of content development and search/retrieval tools.
