Job Description

One of Insight Global's major clients are hiring for a senior-level HVAC controls technician to join their controls service team. Selected candidates will be tasked with performing a combination of preventative and break-fix maintenance on control systems for industrial sized HVAC systems throughout the metro Atlanta area. Daily responsibilities include:

* Performing both planned and unplanned service on HVAC control systems for large commercial facilities (both hardware and software components)

* Programming and troubleshooting PLCs (programmable logic controllers)

* Utilizing hand tools (ex: multimeter) for system testing and maintenance

* Interface with customers to help diagnose system issues

Skills and Requirements

* 5 years minimum experience with control system maintenance and service

* Experience programming PLCs

* Well versed in upgrading servers and software

* Familiarity with related hand tools such as a multimeter

* General flexibility -- given the unpredictability of the role * Experience with Metasys Building Automation System null
