Vestis Services Receptionist in Roswell, Georgia

Job Overview:

The Receptionist creates a positive first and last impression for Vestis and is pivotal to the company running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

This position will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls and directing these calls to the appropriate individuals. This position distributes mail and various flow of correspondence, securing supplies, as well as additional administrative duties.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Customer Service Support:

  • Welcome on-site visitors, confirm appointment and announce visitor to appropriate personnel.

  • Greet vendors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Maintain building security by use of established front door access, maintain visitor logs and badges.

  • Answer main telephone line, determine purpose of call and forward to appropriate individual or department.

  • Screen calls and resolve first level issues; provide callers with basic information such as various Market Center addresses and phone numbers, company website and other related information.

  • Ensure an orderly and welcoming entry and lobby area.

Back Office Support:

  • Maintain an adequate inventory of general office supplies.

  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail/packages accordingly.

  • Distribute intra-company mails to various off-site locations.

  • Prepare outgoing mail, including Fed Ex and other overnight delivery services.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries regarding shipments and material orders.

  • Maintain a neat and clean mailroom.

  • May assist with Payroll and Human Resources work; answer employee questions, direct applicants to the application website, assist with temporary employee orientation, etc.

  • May assist with Billing, Accounting, Production reports; at the direction of the manager.

  • May assist with special events, recognition awards, holiday celebrations, and other social activities at the location.

Organizational:

  • Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, facing and collating presentation materials

  • Provide various administrative support

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.

  • Strong & effective verbal and communication skills.

  • Computer skills using Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

  • Detailed oriented and highly organized with a demonstrated ability to keep information confidential.

  • Must be able to project a positive public image and professional demeanor.

  • Prompt arrival and regular attendance at work.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years experience as a receptionist.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

  • Office environment
