Job Title: Staff Accountant

Industry: Healthcare

Location: Rosslyn, VA (3 days in office, free parking)

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

My client is hiring a Staff Accountant who will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their financial information. The position is responsible for maintaining general ledgers, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and supporting the Assistant Controller of Accounting and Senior Accountants as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledgers and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses derived from ledger information.

• Collaborate with team members to assist in reconciliations and monthly closing processes.

• Support the Assistant Controller of Accounting and Senior Accountants with accounting tasks as necessary.

• Maintain compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards and regulations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proven ability to effectively manage projects and tasks independently.

• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and practices (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
