Deloitte Leadership/Workforce Development Senior Manager in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work you'll do

As a Leadership/Workforce Development Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience in Workforce Development strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Working closely with a large team to deliver results for your client.

  • Lead and manage teams or workstreams to contribute to the overall project success.

  • Aligning leadership development models, tools, methods and approaches with business strategy.

  • Build your reputation within the firm and in the market for the strong Leadership and Workforce Development knowledge you possess.

  • Lead and contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

  • Be responsible for business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations, etc.

  • Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of Workforce Transformation colleagues

  • Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate

  • Enjoying the opportunity to forge strong relationships with both the client and project team that will contribute to your growth and development

    In this role, you will support multiple types of Leadership Strategy and Leadership Development projects, such as:

  • Leadership model definition and design

  • Leadership assessment design and development

  • Leadership succession strategy and process design

  • Leadership program design and development

  • Leadership program facilitation

  • Leadership coaching and assessment

  • Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years' leadership and workforce development experience

  • 6+ years' experience leading projects and teams

  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years consulting experience

  • 6+ years' experience managing staff and leading small to medium sized teams

  • 6+ years project management, presentation, and facilitation skills

  • Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments

  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to create and manage client relationships and develop business

  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

  • ICF or equivalent executive leadership training/certifications highly valued, not required

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $193,725 to $322,875

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
