Work You'll Do

The mission of this role is to enable the delivery and sustainment of secure and resilient capabilities to key stakeholders and international partners quickly and cost-effectively. This position will support priorities, including rapidly responding to operational needs, modernizing critical deterrent capabilities, executing acquisition reforms, sustaining essential systems, collaborating with emerging partners, and ensuring a robust, secure, resilient, and innovative industrial base. The position also supports the mission to ensure robust, secure, resilient, and innovative industrial capabilities upon which the organization can rely in an era of great power competition to fulfill current and future operational capabilities.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact with client executives and maintain regular interaction with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and delegated government representatives.

  • Identify, analyze, and utilize data on the defense industrial base to increase visibility and direct strategic decision-making.

  • Analyze market trends and industrial base capacity to improve future assessments and investments for long-term resilience.

  • Enhance the strength of strategic and critical materials supply chains and policies.

  • Review past and present policies to determine how the DoD can more effectively incentivize its supplier base.

  • Conduct analysis to identify policies or strategies leveraging existing DoD authorities to mitigate risks or develop new industrial capabilities.

  • Advise clients on future risk mitigation strategies based on identified risks through the supply chain due diligence process.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 years of relevant work experience, including process improvement, systems alignment, project delivery, managing business solutions, resource delegation, and quality assurance

  • Secret Clearance required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to work on client site 3-4 days a week

    Desired Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in conducting analysis to support investment and financial decisions for large international corporations

  • Experience with tracking trends, identifying risks to the larger economy, and proposing mitigating solutions, including policy changes, market incentives, and investment strategies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification techniques

  • Understanding of supply chain risk management practices and the ability to use research tools to conduct value chain analysis

  • Ability to advise clients on future risk mitigation strategies based on identified risks through the supply chain due diligence process
