QPS Employment Group has a great Traveling Service Tech/Industrial Electrician position available at a company in Roseville, IL. This is a direct hire position.

Traveling Service Tech/Industrial Electrician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\ - Design and fabrication of Panels and Electrical Boxes.\ - Design, test, and make schematics of panels and electrical components for smokehouses and other projects.\ - Work with Automation Engineers to help design, program, and test automated machinery processes.\ - Organizes work by reviewing daily requirements; checking and gathering supplies to help better/service job.\ - Install, maintain and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.\ - Travel to job sites in service area, and work to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.\ - Be available to work nights or weekends to service emergency needs of our customers.\ - Document all installed equipment upon arrival, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.\ - Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacements parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.\ - Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest technologies.\ - Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, additional services, business potentials, and opportunities).\ - R & D of Equipment.\ - Service existing accounts by investigating complaints, conducting tests; resolving problems.\ - Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.\ - Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance.\ - Documents service and installation actions by documenting processes and producing timely and detailed service reports.\ - Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.\ - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.\ - Produce timely and detailed service reports.\ - Document processes.\ - Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.\ - Build positive relationships with customers.\ - Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
