PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position may vary over time as the position develops.

Apply engineering principles to develop new materials and new products in line with the growth strategy of Benedettini Cabinetry.

Interfaces with internal customers.

Plans and conduct products testing.

Communicates results of product testing, both verbally and in writing.

Coaches and mentors other employees within drafting and engineering department.

Manages various development/prototyping programs.

Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

Required:

• Three years or more of Cabinet Vision experience or comparable CAD software.

``` - Two years or more of cabinet shop experience.

``` - One to two years of schooling in computer programming or computer focused study.

Preferred:

• Five years or more of Cabinet Vision experience or comparable CAD software.

``` - Two years or more of cabinet shop experience.

``` - Bachelors degree in engineering or computer programming.

Background requirements:

Candidates must pass drug screen and background check. (Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, company policy does not permit the employment of candidates with some classes/types convictions.)
