Our Rosemount, MN facility is in need of a Machine Assistant to join our team on our 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm) . To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.   • Check paper for basis weight.

  • Check poly for trim and mil thickness.

  • Strip paper/poly rolls. Take off only minimum amount needed. Scrap is to be placed in the

  • appropriate bins.

  • Shaft rolls – using partial rolls (butts) first.

  • Perform necessary slide angle tests.

  • Maintain glue and stak-tite in pans.

  • Thread paper/poly through machine.

  • Set-up laminator.

  • Clean laminator upon completion of use.

  • Set fife guides.

  • Keep area clean.

  • Work overtime as needed.

  • Will train on shift as needed.

  • Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.

  • Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.

  • Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.

  • Be able to operate tuber as needed.

  • Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.

  • Assist in Training.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

  • Ability to bend, twist and kneel.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand continuously for 2 – 3 hours.

  • Ability to perceive colors.

  • Must have manual dexterity.
