ADP Lead SASE Architect/Engineer in Roseland, New Jersey

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead SASE Architect/Engineer in either our Roseland, NJ or Alpharetta, GA office. This position is a hybrid role. The candidate must have several years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting the Zscaler ZIA/ZPA solutions /or/ Palo Alto Prisma Access solutions, or Netskope SASE solutions.

Position Overview:

The chance to work on leading edge technology projects helping ADP transform their environment and enable them to move at cloud speed. The candidate will be expected to perform a critical Architecture, Design & Implementation Engineering role for SASE Solutions at ADP.

Additional experience with the following is a plus:

  • Proxy & URL/Content filtering solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Bluecoat, Websense, iboss, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access or similar)

  • ZTNA Solutions

  • Remote access VPN

  • Firewalls

  • DLP

  • SSL Inspection

  • SAML IdP

Job Summary:

As a Senior Level SASE Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SASE solutions at ADP. Your expertise in SASE cloud security platforms will be critical in guiding ADP through their digital transformation journey, enhancing their security posture, and enabling secure and seamless remote access for their workforce. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with industry best practices and meet our unique cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of SASE solutions for ADP, taking into consideration their business requirements, security objectives, and existing technology landscape.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of ADP current network and security infrastructure to determine the most effective integration of SASE solutions.

  • Collaborate with ADP internal teams to understand their security challenges and develop tailored strategies for implementing SASE solutions in line with their objectives.

  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices and help ADP teams optimize their usage of the platform to achieve maximum security and performance benefits.

  • Assist ADP in configuring and deploying SASE services, including Web Security, Cloud Firewall, Private Access, and Data Loss Prevention, among others.

  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and issue resolution related to SASE deployments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to clients' operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in SASE technology to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise.

  • Provide training/knowledge transfer to the client’s engineering/support team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in networking in large, global enterprise environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or related roles.

  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Zscaler solutions, including hands-on experience with Zscaler's cloud security platform /or/ Palo Alto Prisma Access cloud security platform

  • Demonstrated understanding of network protocols, security protocols, and architecture principles.

  • Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) or similar certifications are highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading SASE deployments and projects, preferably in a architect capacity.

  • Proficient understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience with VPNs, Firewalls, and network security principles.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and diverse environments.
