Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Rosedale, Maryland. The focus of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer payments and maintaining up-to-date customer records within our industry. This position requires on-site presence and the successful candidate will work in a team setting, engaging with various stakeholders including retailers, sales representatives, warehouse drivers, and customer service personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments.

• Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies through detailed research.

• Keep meticulous notes related to accounts within the Sapphire system.

• Collaborate with the National Call Center and other team members to collect outstanding balances.

• Handle a high volume of customer and driver calls effectively and accurately.

• Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders.

• Escalate situations to the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, Outlook - in day-to-day operations.

• Scan payments into the bank system.

• Communicate delivery term changes to customers and sales representatives when necessary.

• Uphold high customer service standards and ensure accuracy in customer accounts. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong skills in customer service and communication

• Previous experience in a sales role

• Ability to process payments accurately and efficiently

• Experience in supervising team members or projects

• Comfortable with scanning and managing financial notes

• Familiarity with video conferencing tools

• Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis

• Experience managing customer accounts

• Previous experience in a call center environment

• Comfortable working onsite when required

• Familiar with using templates for work processes

• Ability to resolve account discrepancies efficiently

• Experience working with retailers

• Proactive in collecting outstanding payments

• Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies.
