Electronic and Mechanical Assemblers join parts & wires together to make electrical products and mechanical assemblies. Assemblers assume responsibility for the manufacture of product and may do some or all of the following: Follow assembly instructions Choose the correct component and amount of each component needed Wire components or sub-assemblies Punch or drill holes in the parts to be assembled Solder the parts to the circuit board by and using a soldering machine Check that each component is in the correct place Assemble mechanical parts Other duties as defined by management
