Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist in Romeoville , IL. Candidates must have experience driving the reach truck and cherry picker, and experience with the inventory control process.

This is a contract to hire opportunity, meaning you will get hired directly after 3-4 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

Shifts and pay:

Mon-Sat, 5am-1:30pm, lots of overtime, paying $20/hr.

Mon-Sat, 2pm-10:30pm, lots of overtime, paying $21.50/hr.

Wed-Sun, 8am-430pm, paying $20.80/hr.

Job Summary:

  • The Inventory Control Coordinator is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor or Distribution Center Manager in the overall performance of the warehouse, and operations.

  • The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as coordination of inbound container management and inventory reports.

Requirements:

  • 2-3years of Inventory management experience.

  • High School Education/GED and/or equivalent Inventory Management experience.

  • Experience in warehousing as well as general supervisory experience, is necessary.

  • Skills in planning, budgeting, organizing, controlling, and communicating are required.

  • The ability to develop effective relationships, provides leadership, and integrates diverse organizations and individuals toward profitability objectives are critical.

  • Order picker/Cherry picker

  • Watching inventory from start to end

  • Cycle counting

  • Planning/budgeting

  • Using Warehouse Management Systems helpful (SAP)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, OSHA requirements and Federal Labor law and requirements.

  • Responsible for all inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory issue resolution as well as coordination of inbound container management and inventory reports.

  • Work extended hours as needed.
