Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Adhere to all established Kerry LIFE Safety, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and processing policies with an eye towards Quality.
2.Adhere to all LO/TO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures while performing work on equipment as required.
3.Never take shortcuts or use improper tools/equipment that could compromise the safety of themselves or others.
4.As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.
5.This includes, but is NOT limited to:
a.Performing regular (continuous) services to our internal customers.
b.Preventative maintenance procedures.
c.Predictive maintenance procedures.
d.Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
6.Work with team members to achieve the highest efficiency.

Key responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
1.5 years of industrial maintenance experience.2.Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
a.Proper bearing installations.
b.Proper alignment techniques, (sprocket/sheave alignments, coupling alignments).
c.Use of measuring tools, (tape measures, calipers, gauges).
d.Reading mechanical schematics.
3.Electrical knowledge of industrial machinery.
a.Motor wiring skills.
b.Electrical troubleshooting skills.
4.of the terminology of the job.
5.Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
6.Ability to be a team-player.
7.Median computer and report writing skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
1.Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.2.Use and understanding of Predictive tools
a.Infrared Thermography
b.Ultrasound
Working Conditions:
Food manufacturing plant
Warehouse environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.
Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours.
Ability to climb stairs or ladder.
