Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Order Entry Specialist in the wholesale distribution industry, located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The Order Entry Specialist will assist with the accurate and timely booking and billing of customers’ orders. Responsible for the entire customer order cycle; order entry, order acknowledgment, shipment notification, and invoicing.

Responsibilities:

· Accurate entry of Purchase Orders from customers for shipments.

· Process timely shipment notification/fulfillment documents and billing of direct fulfillment orders following shipment to the consumer.

· Accurately manage all changes made to POs.

· Assist with accurate booking and billing of Purchase Orders from Dealers.

· Work with Coordinators to ensure accurate order status communication to our customers.

· Other tasks determined necessary to assist with the completion of back-office functions.

Requirements

· Prior order entry and/or customer service experience.

· Working knowledge of accounting systems, Sage Intacct a plus but not required.

· Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Self-starter, accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision.

· Thrive in a close-knit team environment.
