Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the bustling city of Rolling Meadows, Illinois. This role is situated in our modern office setting and involves a variety of accounting and financial tasks. The successful candidate will join our team in a dynamic and fast-growing industry, where they will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately preparing journal entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.

• Processing bank deposits, checks, credit card payments, and other transactions as needed for month-end closes.

• Regularly processing payrolls and preparing payroll quarterlies.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications efficiently.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Using accounting software and Microsoft Office proficiently to manage and analyze financial data.

• Utilizing knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and practices, including the use of spreadsheets and databases.

• Applying skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks.

• Preparing financial statements for month-end closings. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role is essential

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Data Entry

• Thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in handling Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Prior experience handling Payroll

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must

• Experience in Public Accounting is desirable

• Familiarity with general Bookkeeping procedures

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of information.
