\ \ Responsibilities\ \

The role

As a Commercial Loan Assistant, you are primarily responsible for assisting commercial lenders.

A Day in the Life

Verify, compile, and complete loan applications.

Prepare new loan requests to submit to loan processing, review the loan file to verify that data is complete and meets established standards.

Process documentation of loans and extensions, close loans and prepare for booking, as well as compute payment and interest.

Resolve exceptions or any other documentation deficiencies along with actively managing outstanding exception items for compliance with Credit Policy.

Work closely with the assigned officers to assist in collecting financial data and member phone/email communication to better manage the overall member relationship.

Monitor reports such as past due, paid off loans, criticized assets, and maturing loan lists to assist and proactively inform of\ \
