As an Associate Manager on our Category Leadership team for Walmart, you will help lead category growth platform development by providing category programs and plans to field sales for a portfolio of our brands. You will report to the Vice President of Category Leadership.

Your Impact:

• Provide category analysis and business impacts to the sales team, identifying opportunities to enhance customer/category goals and those of the company

• Customize existing corporate category initiatives and plans to propel company and category sales at the customer

• Help deliver category insights to develop collaborative solutions

• Assist team to exceed established shelving and merchandising goals

• Provide category and shopper insights to the account in your assigned categories.

• Work with internal partners and retailer contacts to develop and help implement category growth plans

• Propose planograms to support shelving standards across assigned categories

• Collaborate with the sales team in developing modular objectives and strategies, develop proposals for distribution and shelving changes to the customer.

• Ensure category objectives are delivered

Your Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required; or Master’s Degree

• 1-2+ years of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) related experience in sales or analytical roles. Category leadership experience preferred.

• Data integration and interpretation experience

• Experience summarizing a holistic sales story from multiple sources of data, such as syndicated, loyalty, consumer and industry trends

• An understanding of syndicated panel data fundamentals

• Experience working directly with customers in growing category sales

• Experience with Nielsen/IRI, Retail Link; experience with space management tools helpful but not required.

• Experience in Excel to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and automate processes
