Description

We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our clients team near Lakewood, Ohio. This role involves managing various accounting-related functions with a focus on accounts receivable and payable, payroll data entry, and client engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team's efficiency and accuracy in managing financial records and transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable and payable accurately and timely

• Carry out data entry tasks with high attention to detail

• Engage with clients to maintain accounts and resolve any issues

• Process payments, billing, and post payments to keep records up to date

• Check and enter payroll into the system, ensuring accurate record-keeping

• Contribute to month, quarter, and year-end close processes

• Report on financial status on a regular basis

• Take on additional HR responsibilities as needed, such as onboarding and benefits management

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in Bookkeeping and maintaining financial records

• Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial calculations

• Experience in managing Month End Close procedures, ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks

• Experience in managing Payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
