X-energyis seeking professionals to join our Human Capitalteam in the role ofDirector of Human Resources. This position will be responsible for directing all aspects of the Human Resources (HR) operations functions, to include oversight of payroll and benefits administration, performance management, human resources information system (HRIS) management, and immigration processing. This role will also ensure the HR business unit adheres to both industry compliance rules and regulations, and internal company process requirements to maintain effective and efficient functionality, with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration:Manage the administration of payroll actions to ensure error free processing of payroll
  • Benefits Administration:Direct the execution of day-to-day benefits administration including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401(k) plans to ensure compliance with plan and company requirements;Oversee annual open enrollment process;Manage relationships with outside vendors/providers
  • Performance Management:Direct and manage the staff performance management program (goal setting, mid-year reviews, documentation of reviews, and end of year performance appraisals), ensuring deadlines for documentation and analysis are met
  • Compensation:Oversee the annual merit increase, bonus, and promotion process;Manage the Short and Long-Term Incentive Plans
  • HRIS:Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions
  • Immigration:Interface with immigration attorney to manage the immigration process, assess qualification requirements, and obtain visas, green cards, citizenship, or other types of legal status to authorize employment in the United States
  • Manage international HR operation functions (i.e., Canada, UK)
  • Mentor, manage, and provide on-going feedback to members of the HR team
  • Stay current on Human Resources trends and resources which could benefit X-energy's workforce and evaluate current services and/or processes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Minimum Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
  • 15+ plus years of experience is required
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a management role is required
  • Experience ith multiple human resources functional areas, processes, and methodologies
  • Experience using an HRIS. Workday experience is preferred
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team
