We are currently hiring a 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager for a meat processing facility located in Rockaway, NJ. - We are looking for a hands-on bilingual (Eng. & Spanish) experienced manager to engage and lead our sanitation team members and all activities necessary for the cleaning and sanitizing of our production and packaging equipment and the dry storage areas, in multiple facilities, while ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with USDA (U.S. Department of Ag), SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points), FDA (Food & Drug Administration), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).1.Approves, adopts, and enforces all safety rules and regulations.2.Identifies operational oversights that could contribute to accidents which often result in injuries and property damage.3.Regularly reviews the performance of the plant safety program and addresses issues as needed.4.Assigns and overseas supervisors who have demonstrated ability in effective administration of the safety and health programs and provides motivation and assistance to meet minimum program requirements.5.Organizes and participates in safety related activities, including attending safety meetings and audits of the facility, correcting employee behavior that can result in accidents and injuries. 6.Ensures that orientation of new hires is conducted and documented. 7.Make necessary plant audits with the Safety Director to appraise the program’s effectiveness.8.Enforces safety rules consistently and follows the disciplinary action procedures.9.Conducts daily job site walk-arounds and corrects noted safety violations.10.Supervises all training conducted by supervisors.11.Ensures completion of all reports including accident investigation, safety hazards, weekly safety meetings, and periodic audits.
