SUMMARY
The Scheduling Specialist prepares requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians. Maintains patient information, standing orders, and Nursing Home requests.
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Riedman Campus | 100 Kings Highway S Rochester, NY
DEPARTMENT: Homedraw Phlebotomy
SCHEDULE: Days | Sunday - Thursday 6am-2:30pm
ATTRIBUTES
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years scheduling experience preferred
- Excellent communication and computer skills required
- Schedule Maintenance. Receive unscheduled absence calls from Road Technicians and revise the daily schedules as needed. Prepare, post and distribute Road Technicians' on-call schedules. Work with both the Scheduling Specialist and Homebound Services Supervisor to ensure all departmental goals are met.
- Administrative. Prepare requisitions and other documents necessary for the Homebound Services technicians to perform their duties. Perform file maintenance on all systems including Excel, Word, LIS (Laboratory Information System), and Access programs. Address all phone calls promptly and professionally. Maintain patient information, standing orders, and Nursing Home requests. Accurately records essential information to provide the proper documentation for the customers' requirements. Ensure all client requests are delegated to the correct personnel within the timeframe needed or required. File and archive all patient records in accordance with Quality Assurance guidelines in order to retrieve documents for audits.
PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $24.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
