Department of Economics

The Department of Economics is looking to hire a tenured faculty member at the rank of Full Professor beginning July 2024. Tenure upon initial appointment for qualified candidate will be granted, contingent on favorable review of the candidate’s dossier by the department, the dean and the Provost.

This individual needs to possess a high level of demonstrated scholarship and potential for making important contributions to economics and ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must have an outstanding record of publication, major ongoing research, and demonstrated effectiveness in training graduate students.

Salary Range: $180,000.00 - $300,000.00

The referenced pay range represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
