Faculty Position in Chemistry (Associate Professor or Professor Rank)

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the areas of organic chemistry and/or chemical biology, broadly defined. Applications at Associate or Full Professor ranks are welcome and will be considered for the Andrew S. Kende or the Robert K. Boeckman, Jr. and Mary Delton endowed professorships. Tenure upon appointment for qualified senior candidates may be granted, contingent on favorable review of the candidate’s dossier by the Department, the Dean and the Provost.

Salary: Associate Professor: $99,000 – 135,000; Full Professor: $135,000 – 250,000

The referenced pay range represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
