Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will perform medical examinations, selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, and other special procedures to assist in the delivery of medical services to patients. This will involve working in the cath lab alongside the interventionalist doing procedures.

- Patient Satisfaction. Interacts on a frequent, regular and daily basis with patients, family members, medical/social/public services support, regulatory agencies and/or payor agencies. - Medication and Orders: Orders consultations and interacts with members of other specialty medical teams, orders laboratory tests, x-rays, special imaging studies and other diagnostic procedures, and supervises the administration of blood products.
- Documentation: Takes complex medical histories on patients referred for consultation, performs physical examinations and develops treatment plans in conjunction with attending physician to provide optimal patient medical management.
EDUCATION:
- MS: Nursing (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
